I verified from other websites and this is authentic. The way the plastic is covered, where the tapes are placed. And the offset of the box cover print is also the same. I think there are two versions of this because of the barcode based on my research.

I didn’t open it because I’m going to gift it to a special friend who really likes FF series and Aerith. I hope she’ll be delighted.

Character models and CG clips are fantastic, enjoyable story, simple combat mechanics, great for anyone who has seen the anime series or enjoys dungeon crawlers, controls are newcomer friendly, English subtitles kicked in automatically during play, ,soundtrack and artbook look great (be advised the art book is written in Japanese), overall a great game and a fantastic price!
